I'm a limousine Liberal...

Mea culpa for not writing for so long. I’ve been very busy with my thesis; finally really rounded off my research question so now it’s time to start writing for real. I’m a little bummed that I won’t be making the actual deadline though. No graduation in July for me.. I still plan to have everything done by the time the “good” students get their little ceremony on July 15th. That way I can still party hard all through the summer and defend my thesis somewhere in September.
The subject for my thesis is whether companies with business blogs are already developing and implementing guidelines for their blogging employees. Should be fun to investigate; it’s right up my alley. I’d like to look at the ethical implications as well. Ethics in PR? Yeah, if I can help it. ;)

Today I’ve been playing tourist in my own country. Such fun! My friends and I were going to a national STOP BUSH demonstration in Amsterdam and we took some "Japanese touristy" pictures at Dam Square beforehand.

We marched for about an hour, but then our bladders were about to burst so we had to leave the crowd. As a result, I feel like a half assed salon socialist, a limousine liberal. But at least I went. If only for a little while.

Phew, still no knitting content huh? Despite my busy schedule, I’ve been making progress on both the fronts of Cinnamon and the second rainbow sock. Cinnamon’s fronts are almost ready for the armholes and the rainbow sock is at the heel flap.
But something got in the way… Yesterday, I received my long awaited order of Noro Kureyon from Germany. Oh man, did I love it and hug it and hold it and kiss it and squeeze it and pet it and call it George!
I couldn’t just let that sit in a corner. So I cast on…
For what? Hm, I think I’m going to keep you in the dark just a little more and promise to post a pic next week. (Fact is I’m just too damn lazy to put new batteries in my camera and take pics without a flash, but there’s nothing like a little suspense to keep you on your toes. ;)

Happy knitting and God bless. (Oh, how I adored Bob Ross.)

Thanks for congratulating Franciska happy b-day sooo early. When did you wake up? Or, when did you go to sleep?
Seems like Bush is popular only among his family!

P.S. Did you get my e-mail?
