What a day, what a day

Tuesday November 2nd 2004:




- The Chimp "re-elected" as President (Ok, so we don't officially know that yet, but looking at the polls, I think we're screwed..)




- Dutch film maker Theo van Gogh murdered (Ok, so I didn't like the guy, but who'da thunk something like this could happen in my little liberal Nederland?)




And crawling back into bed and forget about the world is officially no longer an option, since I read that people who regularly sleep more than eight hours a night tend to die sooner.




So I'm gonna put on my Amélie soundtrack, cuddle little Mingus and hope you'll call later today. I promise I won't whine... ;)
